A range of purples, from mauve to plum.  I was aiming for a color named "Fern's Watch" in honor of a friend's very good and very much missed dog who was fond of the sunsets over Katahdin, but there was a bit more indigo in the vat than I hoped and the yarn went slightly more purple.  The friend in question (Sarah, of FiberTrek podcast fame) has very kindly suggested that it be called Coe's Naptime, in honor of Fern's pack-mate, Coe who is very fond of naps. 

I just dyed up a new batch.  There is enough yardage in this colorway to knit a full sweater.
