2014 Gansey yarn is spoken for.  Yarn spun from 2015 fleeces should be tentatively available in mid-August.   I will keep people updated via my blog and email list/newsletter.  Please get in touch if you would like to be added to my email list.  

The coopworth wool for this yarn comes from Buckwheat Blossom Farm, Wiscasset Maine.  

Color: This batch of gansey yarn is un-dyed, and owes its distinctive color to the sheep from whence it was shorn.

Gauge: 29 to 32 stiches and 40 rows per 4 inches on 2.5mm needles.

Length: approx. 120 yards

Weight: approx. 50 grams.
