Basic but awesome ribbed mittlets, sized for folks with big hands (my husband) and medium hands (say your average woman, i.e me). They are fun, relatively quick to knit, and very warm. This is the first pattern that I ever wrote, and I recently gave it a bit of sorely needed editing, as well as a chart to help clarify the thumb increases. My original used yarns no longer in stock (all that Coopworth fleece is now going into my gansey yarn). I recently re-knit this pattern using 220 yards of my DK weight Gotland for the main color and 50 yards of my DK weight Bluefaced Leicester for the contrast color. In honor of my first trunk show, I am putting together kits using these yarns, in two colorways.
